By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. You must be legally able to enter into a purchase, or use the store with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you tell us promptly that it may have been accessed without permission.

Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or abusive material, scrape protected content, or use the store to infringe another person’s rights.

We aim to describe books, formats, prices, and availability accurately. Cover colours and physical appearance may vary slightly by screen or print run. An item may be corrected, withdrawn, or cancelled if it is unavailable or was listed with a material error.

Cash-on-delivery checkout creates a pending order and sends an acknowledgement to your email. Cash on delivery is available only for eligible physical-book orders. For card checkout, your order is created and a receipt is emailed after Safepay verifies payment.

Store prices and order totals are shown in PKR unless the checkout states otherwise. The total shown at checkout includes the shipping and tax amounts recorded for that order. Your bank may apply its own transfer or conversion charges.

Physical books are currently delivered within Pakistan. Estimated dates are guidance rather than a guaranteed appointment, and delays outside reasonable control may occur. You are responsible for providing an accurate and accessible delivery address.

A paid downloadable or online-reading edition gives the purchasing account a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to read the work. It does not transfer copyright or permission to copy, upload, distribute, resell, lend, or publicly display the work.

• Downloadable editions include one download through an expiring secure email link; extra attempts require support approval
• Do not bypass access or file protections

Eligibility depends on the order, payment, and fulfilment stage and on the type of edition purchased. The Returns and Refund policies form part of these Terms and explain how to request help.

Books, extracts, artwork, photography, site design, text, and brand material are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders. Use is limited to personal browsing and the specific licence attached to a purchased edition.

You keep ownership of original material you submit, such as a review. By submitting it for publication, you give Laila Sandleen a non-exclusive permission to store, moderate, reproduce, and display it in connection with the website and books. Do not submit material you do not have the right to use.

We take reasonable care to keep the website and digital library available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Pakistan, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. We may update the Terms when the store, services, or legal requirements change. The date shown on this page identifies the current version.
